about me & why I'd like to be mr gay.com 2008
I want to be Mr. Gay.com to show that no matter what labels are available to us, or what others label us, we are each unique. Call me a jock because my second job is in a gym and I spend a lot of time working out and training to fight... call me a side show freak because I'm tattooed and more bendy than a hot pretzel. Call me a model because I have posed for Justin Monroe. Call me whatever you like, I am the one ME there is, just like you are the only YOU there is! Being "gay" is about just that, being different, and in being different we find out that we are all the same. Why when so many others want to put us in little boxes, do we find it necessary to put ourselves into boxes as well? I am not the Boy Next Door, I'm not a muscle stud, or a silver fox... I am not yet a community leader. I am the rest of the world! I am the dancer, the model, the activist, the rock star (wanna be), the good time guy. I am the friend, the lover, the hater. I am what WE are, Diverse, engaging, exotic. I want to be Mr. Gay.com because I want to break the mold and represent the majority of the gay world, who might just not fit so neatly into socities boxes.
